Inclusion Pathways is opening a school in Red Bank, New Jersey to provide job skills traning for individuals with special needs
At our school we will offer Life Skills classes, Job Skills Classes, Culinary Classes, Graphic Design Classes and a variety of technology classes. Our Technology classes will teach them technical skills including Web Design, Coding, 3D Printing, Basic Computer Skills, Microsoft Office and STEM
Job Description
We are looking to hire a Teacher's Assistant to assist the head teacher with the following responsibilities:
- Assisting students with special needs in our classes
- Serving as a subsitute teacher when the teacher is absent
- Running small breakout groups under the direction of the head teacher
Work Hours
We plan on running our classes for individuals with special needs three weekdays from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Our workshops for the general public will be held on Saturdays. The candidate must be avalible on the weekdays that we are running our classes. We prefer the candidate to have avalibility on Saturday but we do not require it.
Qualifications
- A candidate with graphic design skills is desirable.
- Experience working with 3D printers is a plus
- A background and understanding of applied mechanical engineering is a plus
- Experience working with individuals with special needs is a plus.
- Teaching experience is preferred.

- Reliability in attendance and job performance
- Integrity of character
- Excellent oral and written communication
