Inclusion Pathway's mission is to integrate people with special needs into the community. We serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New Jersey once they reach the age of 21.
At Inclusion Pathways we believe that there are many opportunities to be part of a community. We help each family that we serve find the right path so that they can live an enriched life. Inclusion Pathways is opening a Community Center in Red Bank, New Jersey called Build and Brew Café to create employment and social opportunities for individuals with special needs where they can interact with the public.
Job Description
- Teaching our culinary classes
- Developing the curriculum and lesson plans for our culinary classes
- Inventory management: Order supplies, check stock levels, and maintain inventory for the Retail store, CAFÉ, classes and office supplies
- Staff management: Hire, train, schedule, and discipline staff
- Menu planning: Create and update the menu
- Vendor coordination: Work with vendors to obtain supplies
- Financial management: Monitor budgets, track finances, and work to improve profit margins
- Customer service: Resolve customer issues and build customer loyalty
- Food safety: Ensure employees comply with health and food safety standards
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
Work Hours
8:30am to 3:30pm - Tuesday though Friday
10:00am to 8pm - Saturdays
Qualifications
- Culinary skills required
- We seek a person with an impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas.
- The ability to transform technical language into user friendly and age-appropriate language is required.
- Candidate should have high-level creative thinking abilities.
- Experience working with individuals with special needs a plus.
- Managerial and teaching experience is preferred.
- Detail-oriented
- Reliability in attendance and job performance
- Integrity of character
- Excellent oral and written communication
