Inclusion Pathway's mission is to integrate people with special needs into the community. We serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New Jersey once they reach the age of 21.

At Inclusion Pathways we believe that there are many opportunities to be part of a community. We offer many different social, recreational and employment programs to promote and facilitate community inclusion. We help each family that we serve find the right path so that they can live an enriched life. Inclusion Pathways is opening a Community Center in Red Bank, New Jersey called Build and Brew Café to create employment and social opportunities for individuals with special needs where they can interact with the public.

Responsibilities

Responsible for teaching theatre classes to adults with special needs.

  • Teach acting and performance skills such as dramatic and comedic acting, monologues, improvisation, and stage presence.
  • Encourage enthusiastic theatrical experiences for participants.
  • Assist instructor in developing and implementing lesson plans that motivate participants.
  • Provide an encouraging and nurturing influence for participants.
  • Empower students to build self-confidence through theatrical expression.
  • Effectively communicates with individuals to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop an inclusive approach to theater that involves all participants regardless of skill level.
  • Contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for participants.
  • Maintain accurate records of participants in the classes.
  • Monitor participants’ overall health and well-being.

  • Create a classroom environment that fosters learning, creativity, and active participation.
  • Candidate should have creativity and a high energy level.
  • Ability to assist and direct performance rehearsals, shows, etc.
